Erick Johnson (b. San Francisco, 1959) is a New York based artist, photographer & curator. Johnson has shown nationally & internationally and his work has earned critical attention for his solo shows in New York and Washington DC where he is represented by Gallery Neptune & Brown. He also had a 2015 solo show at the IUCAD Arts Center in Columbus, IN. Johnson recently co-curated “Double Vision” a show about photography & artmaking practices, which was shown at LABspace in Hillsdale, NY in 2017 and then at the Hudson Valley Community College Teaching Gallery in Troy, NY in early 2019. His work is in numerous private collections. He studied at the School of Visual Arts and received an MFA from the Milton Avery Graduate School for the Arts- Bard College, 2005.He lives in NYC with his wife & 14-year-old daughter.
